The Student Counseling Center providers several resources to students including short-term individual therapy. There are times when it is therapeutically necessary or a matter of student preference to find a therapy provider off campus. Community providers are more likely to be able to provide longer term, uninterrupted service. Our community has many great therapy and psychiatry providers and the Student Counseling Center has provided an easy way to access community providers through the MiResource platform. If you find that your community provider does not meet your needs, you may choose to discontinue services or seek assistance from our case management staff.
