Summer Counseling Services | Counseling Center

Students enrolled in summer classes can continue utilizing medical and mental health resources on campus without any additional fees. Students enrolled in Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 classes but who are not taking summer classes can access these services by paying an additional, one-time fee of $125. This fee is charged to students by the bursar’s office.

If you have been directed to this page by your counselor or a Student Counseling Center staff member, please complete the authorization form below. If not, please call our office at 865-974-2196 to schedule an appointment. Completing this form does not create an appointment.

Please note there is one fee to access services through both the Student Health Center and the Student Counseling Center. Please do not complete this form if you have already paid a fee associated with utilizing the Student Health Center.

By providing the information below, you request and authorize the Bursar or Student Health to increase my University Program and Service Fee by $125, which is the Student Health Summer Fee. I understand that the unpaid portion with be posted to my VolExpress statement or Student Health account the next business day and that this balance will be due and payable in accordance with the established VolExpress policies.
